Professional Application
imagiCal helps foster leadership, analytic and communication skills while developing a tight-knit network of social and highly motivated peers. Our organization's structure and methodology mirrors that of an
advertising agency; skills learned throughout the year can be applied to real-world situations in any industry.
We also encourage the professional development of each of our members through guest speakers and office tours of prestigious companies where our alumni work, such as Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and Cisco Systems.
Departments
imagiCal recruits for positions in all of the following departments:
- Account Planning: gathers and analyzes the primary and secondary market research that is used to determine the campaign's target market. This department is in charge of creating a single, unified theme and strategy that is applied to all aspects of the marketing campaign.
- Media Planning: plans a multi-million dollar budget by evaluating and researching the profitability of different media vehicles (i.e. TV, internet, etc.). This department creates the most efficient and effective strategy of placing ads.
- Public Relations and Promotions: creates a cohesive public relations program that compliments and extends the creative campaign. This includes designing community programs, public events, and promotional items, as well as garnering publicity for the product and campaign.
- Creative: comes up with all the creative and artistic executions of the campaign. This includes TV commercials, print ads, radio spots, and other non-traditional vehicles, as well as the development of campaign slogans and other applicable logos and taglines.
- Production: responsible for the technical production and execution of all creative campaign elements as well as product website development. Please provide at most five (5) samples of your work attached as .jpg or .pdf files or send us a URL to your portfolio if you intend to apply for the department.
We look forward to your application!
